Street Festival



 

The Lotto Max Touchdown Downtown Street Festival presented by the Times & Transcript gets started on Friday, September 23 at noon and will feature several interactive displays, sponsor booths and much more!

 

The Festival runs Friday from noon - 11 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. In order to carry out the festival, Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Church Street to Mechanic Street from Friday, September 23 at 6 a.m. until Sunday, September 25 at 3 a.m.

 

Following an outstanding inaugural year in 2010, the Lotto Max Touchdown Downtown Street Festival is back for a second year with outstanding entertainment confirmed for 2011.The festival which is being presented by the Times & Transcript is being held in conjunction with a week of festivities celebrating the return of the CFL to Atlantic Canada.

 

Downtown Moncton will be ready to rock when Canadian legends Kim Mitchell and Sloan take the stage on Friday and Saturday nights. The Lotto Max Touchdown Downtown Mainstage, located in front of City Hall, will fill Main Street with music, kicking off an outstanding football party in Moncton! Additional featured performers during the festival include The Navigators, Tim Chaisson and Morning Fold, The Motorleague, The Divorcees, Pascal Lejeune and Katrine Noel and Jacques Boudreau.
