Stadium

The world-class Stade Moncton Stadium on the Université de Moncton Campus was a $20 million plus project. The stadium is built to hold 10,000 patrons, with the capability to be expanded to 20,000 seats for the hosting of major sporting events - like the CFL Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic 2011!

The facility was first opened in July 2010, prior to Moncton's hosting of the IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships and the first CFL Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic game. The stadium, which also features a natural grass surface, is the largest of its kind in Atlantic Canada and comparable in size to some existing CFL sites.

The facility is co-managed by the University and the City of Moncton. It is the ideal venue to host major sporting and recreational events in Atlantic Canada.
