From September 22 – 25, Touchdown Atlantic offers more than an amazing matchup between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Calgary Stampeders. Once again this year, the festivities include something for everyone and proceeds from the events go to support local amateur football.
The Scotiabank Pigskin Soiree is a gala event that features a pre-dinner meet and greet, followed by a delectable four-course dinner prepared by the renowned culinary team at the Delta Beauséjour. The evening will be filled with fun, entertainment and CFL personalities – all hosted by Newfoundland comedian, Trent McClellan.
The Economy Glass Future Stars features three high school football games and an exciting university matchup between the Mt. Alison Mounties and the St. Mary’s Huskies. The energy and excitement will be revving high as the schools sport their colours, and cheer and chant to support their teams!
Over the weekend, why not take in the LOTTO MAX Touchdown Downtown; a free street festival for all ages and all interests. Moncton’s Main Street will be blocked to vehicle traffic and the festival will feature concerts, displays and activities with some CFL franchises, CFL partners and regional Touchdown Atlantic sponsors.
And what’s football without pre-game food and fun? Before the big game on Sunday, come on over to the Enbridge Gas New Brunswick Family Barbecue and Molson Canadian Tailgate Party. There will be live entertainment, activities for the kids, and food and beverages for sale. Children 14 and under, accompanied by an adult get in free!
You will not want to miss one moment of the celebration!
